Mountaineering and trekking, the highest peak in the Chugoku region
Daisen, the highest peak in the Chugoku region at an altitude of 1,709m, is designated as Daisen-Oki National Park due to its natural richness.
Since ancient times, Oyama has been called "Ogami-dake: Ookami no Take (Higami-dake: Hinokami only)" and "Shinbutsu no Oshiyama".
In addition, it has been worshiped as a "mountain of Shugen" in mountain worship. Therefore, the altitude is not so high.
It is a popular mountain among mountaineers. You can feel the sea near the Sea of Japan.
