Forest ‧ Water ‧ Nature Guided Tour to Know the River
Time: From 16:00 (required time: about 1 hour and a half)

Location: Forest road walk course (approx. 20-30 minutes from the hotel)

A nature guide walks along the forest road from the hotel with customers and explains plants and creatures.
During the tour, you can experience the coldness by touching the river, listen to the birdsong while strolling through the forest, and enjoy the scent of kuromoji. In addition, they also experience drinking and comparing water from local water, domestic commercially available water, and hard water overseas. You can feel nature through your five senses, such as seeing, touching, and smelling.
Let's make a wood pen
Time: 15:00～ ／ 17:00 to 2-part system (required time: about 1 hour)

On the forest road spreading in the backyard of the hotel, we will go to find tree branches with different shapes and textures, and conduct a craft experience using this natural material. While walking along the forest road leading from the backyard of our hotel to "Jizo Falls no Izumi", which was selected as one of the "100 Best Waters in Heisei", an activity to solve quizzes related to nature and water installed in various places using a smartphone app. For example, "Which creatures live in a beautiful river?" "What is Ayu eating?" "If you drain the tempura oil for one 500ml PET bottle into the river, how much water does it need to return it to the river where fish can live?" The contents that can be enjoyed by parents and children. You can learn in the healing natural environment where the birdsong and the babbling of the river resonate.

We will hold an art workshop "Let's Make Monsters" that fosters children's imagination with Kohei Asakura, a picture drawing living in Daisen-cho, as a lecturer. Using newspapers and colorful tapes, referring to motifs such as creatures living in the river, I created my own "monster cover". You can enjoy a workshop that combines art, learning, and play.
Starry sky viewing party - Summer astronomical observation to enjoy in Hoshitori Prefecture
