The country of Izumo, where Yakumo stands, known as the country of God and mythology. The center of this is Izumo Taisha Shrine, which celebrates the great lord Ogami. The great lord Ogami is widely loved as "Daikokusama" and is held in many parts of Japan. The various virtues that Ogami showed in each area are praised by many god names.
